1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup strawberries, pureed
1 tsp vanilla extract

In a blender or food processor, puree the strawberries until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds, if desired.
In a large bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer on high speed until the mixture starts to thicken.
Gradually add the strawberry puree to the cream mixture, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to overbeat.
Use immediately as a topping for your favorite desserts, or store in the refrigerator until ready to use. The strawberry whipped cream can be piped onto desserts for a more decorative look.
